The Spiritual Exercises are at the heart of the Ignatian tradition. St. Ignatius of Loyola makes an audacious claim that God deals directly with the human person in a privileged sacred space and he likens the process to doing physical exercises. Generations of women and men have discovered life’s meaning and purpose through the Spiritual Exercises. We invite you to sample the life-transforming graces, wisdom, and insights of the Spiritual Exercises. Each month, we’ll experience an aspect of the Spiritual Exercises. To register for this series, please e-mail or call 288-4545. Lunch and materials will be provided.

Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius

The exercises are a pathway to recognizing God's activity in our deepest desires and growing in unity with God. Emerging from the experience of St. Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, the Exercises provide a structured opportunity to mature in spiritual freedom and make choices that are responsive to God's call in one's life.
