  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in expanding the scope and reach of our scholarship beyond the walls of the academy, especially by reinterpreting historical knowledge surrounding questions of immigration, labor, and social movements for broader public audiences.

I’d also like to expand my photonics and precision measurement program outside of gravitational wave interferometer applications - if you have a problem that laser measurement could solve, I’d love to hear about it! .

I would also like to develop my own curriculum for a future INGS class on migration and human trafficking. With respect to my own research, I plan to begin the process of turning my dissertation manuscript into a book proposal during the course of this year.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues whose research broadly explores gender, sexuality, violence, and the law. I’d also like to meet those interested in working collaboratively through writing groups, joint qualitative research projects, or team teaching.
  • I’d like to learn more about opportunities to connect my research and teaching with the larger Milwaukee community, as well as how to foster even more collaboration between the Center for Gender and Sexualities Studies and Marquette faculty, staff, and students.​
