2. I'd like to connect with colleagues interested in ________________.

3. I'd like to learn more about _________________________________.

Todd HoaglandTodd Hoagland

Clinical Assistant Professor

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to dismantle my psychological size barriers with students and create a classroom atmosphere where students feel safe to contribute, comfortable to criticize and self-confident enough to ask questions.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in distance education/learning, using D2L effectively, neuroscience, clinical human anatomy and playing squash.
  • I’d like to learn more about community outreach opportunities.

Jacob CapinJacob Capin
Physical Therapy
Assistant Professor

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to develop collaborations, teach and mentor DPT students, secure research funding, recruit my first PhD student, receive IRB approval, and establish my lab (‘Life After Sport Trajectories’ aka ‘LAST’).
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in cardiometabolic indicators, nutrition, physical activity, sports (science & medicine), rehabilitation, and enhancing healthspans. I would also like to chat with those who swim, bike, run, adventure, play music, and/or cook!
  • I’d like to learn more about intramural funding opportunities, grantsmanship resources, teaching resources, service opportunities, and social events for junior faculty. I am new to Wisconsin and looking forward to establishing a community here!

Aime BillstromAmie Billstrom

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to build relationships with other faculty and establish a network of educational mentors in the Marquette community.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in an interdisciplinary approach to graduate medical education.
  • I’d like to learn more about different educational pedagogies and how to create a more interactive, hands on classroom environment.
