Homecoming Court

Members of the Homecoming Court hold the prestigious honor of representing Marquette during our week of festivities. Chosen from among leaders involved in all areas of campus, Homecoming Court will play a central role in helping to promote Marquette University and its Homecoming Initiatives. Ideal candidates will be passionate about Marquette, engaged in activities across campus, in good conduct standing, and academically successful. Court candidates are expected to participate in Homecoming events, as it is a criteria for selection!

How is the court selected?

Court is selected based on an application process. As a part of the application process, GPA and conduct status will be verified for eligibility. Applicants answer four questions related to Marquette spirit and how they feel they represent the university. Court participants are chosen based on involvement and review of the application materials. The final royalty selection is made based on:

  • Participation in Homecoming Events
  • Evaluation of questions on the Homecoming Application
  • Campus Involvement
  • Student Voting

Applications are open in September. The application to apply can be found on MARQUEE!

How will the students know I am on the court?

Homecoming Court will be announced via Marquette Today, Social Media, and Email 

When is voting?

Voting opens during Homecoming week.

When are the winners or Royalty announced?

The winner will be announced during the Homecoming Concert!
