2020 EMPLOYEE WELLNESS PROGRAM

Marquette University's wellness mission is to develop a well workplace in accordance with national guidelines and regulations.

Earn points between January 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020 to qualify for wellness rewards to be applied in January 2021. Earn entries into quarterly drawings for Pulse Cash to use in the Virgin Pulse Store, purchase a gift card or donate to charity. Employees and spouses enrolled in a Marquette-sponsored medical plan can also earn up to $125 each for an FSA contribution or up to $250 each for an HSA contribution, depending on which medical plan you select in 2021.

VSP - UPDATE YOUR MEMBER ID NUMBER

As of Jan. 1, 2020, your VSP unique identifier/means of provider eligibility verification is no longer the last four digits of your social security number. It is now your nine digit MU ID number.

You will need to contact your vision provider and share your MU ID number before they can process any claims.

1095-C TAX FORM

Form 1095-C is a tax form reporting information about an employee's health coverage offered by Marquette University. The taxpayer does not fill out the form and does not need to file it with a tax return. It should be kept with the taxpayer's records. For additional questions on this form, consult your Tax Advisor.

The 1095-C form is being sent out to the address you have listed in MyJob.  If you need a copy of the 1095-C form, you can access it by logging into the enrollment portal and follow the instructions on this link.

 

NAVITUS - 2020 PRESCRIPTION MAIL SERVICE CHANGE

On 1/1/2020, Marquette University’s prescription drug plan will begin using Postal Prescription Services (PPS), a subsidiary of The Kroger Co. (parent company of Pick ‘N Save and Metro Market), as its mail order pharmacy. This change only affects Marquette University’s mail order pharmacy. Your prescription drug coverage will continue to be managed by Navitus.

How to transfer existing medications

Most of your information will automatically transfer to PPS via an Open Refill Transfer process. This includes your name, member ID number and prescriptions with refills remaining. However, certain prescriptions cannot be transferred:

Certain information cannot be legally transferred. This includes credit card numbers and drug allergies. Even if your prescriptions were able to be transferred from the previous mail order pharmacy, you will need to call PPS Customer Service at 1-800-552-6694 to obtain your new PPS Rx #(s) on file to link to your web account in order to complete your registration. Therefore, you will need to register with PPS before you can begin using this benefit. You can register starting 1/1/2020. Prescription refill orders can be requested through PPS beginning 1/1/2020.

How to register with Postal Prescription Services

You can sign up online at www.ppsrx.com or you can call PPS toll-free at 1-800-552-6694 starting 1/1/2020.

Please allow 10 - 14 calendar days from the day you submit your order to receive your medicine(s). Prescriptions should be ordered from the current mail order pharmacy if they are needed within the first 2 weeks after the 1/1/2020 transition date.

TIAA INDIVUDUAL COUNCELING SESSIONS

Per the University announcement on June 22, 2020, the employer matching contribution to Marquette’s 403(b) retirement plan will be suspended for the fiscal year 2021.  HR has compiled some frequently asked questions regarding this change.
