- Login to MyJob.
- Under MU Employee Self Service, click Personal Actions.
- Select Personal Information and click Start.

- Under Basic Details, click Update.

- Select “Enter new information” and click Next.

- Update your preferred First, Middle, or Last Name and click Next.*
- To use your preferred name(s) to generate a new primary email address, type “Y”, otherwise leave blank and continue.

*The “Preferred Last Name” field is easy to overlook at first, but is located under the “Other” section of personal information.
- You will be given an opportunity to review your changes. Click Submit if they are correct. Click Cancel or Back if further changes need to be made.
- A confirmation page will appear.
This information will become available to other university systems, such as eMarq or anything that uses your Marquette account ‘Display Name’ (“Last, First”), within 24 to 48 hours.
