All Marquette Listservs will be upgrading to a new email list management application with improved features and a Web interface for users and list owners.
- Using a browser makes it easier to manage
- Use your Emarq user name and password to login. Only users with Marquette credentials can login to the Web interface.
- List owners use the Web interface to add, remove, and update subscribers individually or in bulk from a file.
- List owners and subscribers with Marquette credentials login via the Web at https://listserv.marquette.edu to access the list and send a message to the list.
- Options for List Settings can be determined by the list owner:
- Lists can be visible to the public or private
- Subscription requests can be open to anyone or restricted by the owner
- Reviewing the list of subscribers can be public, visible only to members, or visible only to the owner
- Senders can be restricted, or open to allow anyone to send mail to the list
- The sender can receive an acknowledgement that the message was sent to the list.
- Replies to messages can be sent to ALL members of the list or only to the sender
- The list archives can be made available online.
- Lists can still be managed using email commands. Non Marquette subscribers must use email commands to manage their subscription options.
Switching to the New Listserv Application
If you are the owner of an existing Listserv, you will receive an email asking you to confirm that you still use the list. If you confirm the Listserv is active, your Listserv will move to the new application. If you indicate the Listserv is not in use or ignore the email, the Listserv will be deleted.
