Mr. Jon D. Hammes
Jon D. Hammes was elected to the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2014.
He is the managing partner of Hammes Company. Hammes Company is in the development, financing and management of strategic real estate assets, specifically in the healthcare and sports industries. Hammes Partners is a registered institutional private equity fund that develops and acquires health care facilities on behalf of pension funds, endowments and foundations nationally.
Jon has been an active participant in the Milwaukee community. He serves on the boards of the Medical College of Wisconsin, the University of Wisconsin Foundation, and Teach for America.
Jon earned a master of science degree in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He and his wife, Ann, have four children and fourteen grandchildren.
He is a member of the Marquette University Archbishop Henni Founders Society and the Marquette University President’s Society.
