Position Description

Come be a part of our service-oriented team providing cutting-edge information systems at the intersection of information and learning. The person in this position will provide basic web development and programming support for the Libraries' websites, database projects, and other web-related projects. This person may also occasionally assist with other IT related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge
  • Detail-oriented
  • User-oriented design knowledge
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tech Support and/or Training experience
  • Experience with a Content Management System (CMS), like WordPress or Drupal
  • Knowledge of basic design principles
  • Experience or knowledge with at least one of the following:
    • PHP, Java, or C#
    • XML
    • Javascript
    • jQuery, React.js, or other front-end Javascript frameworks
    • SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle), NoSQL, or MS Access
