Need equipment for your upcoming project, or just need to borrow a laptop? The Digital Scholarship Lab offers a wide variety of equipment that can be checked out or used within the lab. For questions about any of our equipment, stop by the Digital Scholarship Lab Desk located in the Digital Scholarship Lab (Lower Level of Raynor), or contact the lab staff (raynordms@marquette.edu).

All equipment should be returned to the Digital Scholarship Lab, not at the Circulation Desk or book return slots.

Laptop Kiosks

Students, faculty and staff who need a laptop can check one out from one of two kiosks on the first floor of Raynor Library, located near the central stairs. Both kiosks offer Macbooks and PC laptops for eight hours.

Laptops and Macbooks

The Digital Scholarship Lab has laptops available for checkout to students and faculty with an MUID. To check if any are currently available, see the catalog, or stop at the Digital Scholarship Lab Desk. Laptops can be checked out until the end of the day (when the Digital Scholarship Lab closes).

Windows Macbooks

Adapters, Chargers, Cameras, and more

The Digital Scholarship Lab also has adapters, chargers, cameras, tripods, microphones, graphing calculators, and more for borrow. To view current availability, check the catalog or stop at the Digital Scholarship Lab Desk.

Ideum Touch Table

The Ideum Touch Table is a large, multitouch table located in the Digital Scholarship Lab that is ideal for presenting, collaborating, and for applications like anatomy simulations. For more information about the table, please contact the lab (raynordms@marquette.edu).

Dry Erase Markers for Whiteboards

Movable whiteboards are available throughout the library. Dry erase markers are available for checkout from the Digital Scholarship Lab and are available for four-hour loan periods.

Anatomical Skeletons

Anatomical skeletons and parts are located at the Digital Scholarship Lab desk and are available for checkout. They can be moved throughout the library, but must remain within the building and must be returned to the Digital Scholarship Lab.

Equipment Loan Periods

Most equipment from the Digital Scholarship Lab is usually available for checkout until the end of the day (when the lab closes), unless otherwise noted.
