The Media Editing Room is a reservable space dedicated for digital media projects. This room includes workstations for both Mac and PC platforms, both with an array of software. The room also contains a microphone in addition to sound recording equipment that can be checked out at the Media Equipment Borrowing Desk. This room is equipped with sound dampening material to help ensure less noise bleed.

When is the room available?

The Media Editing Room is generally available while the Digital Scholarship Lab is open. The room can be reserved for up to two-hour blocks.

Who can use the Media Editing Room?

The room is available to the current Marquette students, faculty, and staff.

Can I just walk-in and use the room?

The room must be reserved first before using it, even in a "walk-in" scenario.

Can I get help while using the Media Editing Room?

Staff in the Digital Scholarship Lab are available for assistance Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Please stop at the desk in the Digital Scholarship Lab for any questions you may have.
