Schedule recurring Teams channel meetings in Teams Calendar

You can create Teams channel meetings as recurring meetings — that is, meetings that repeat on a regular basis. Recurring meetings have the same start time (e.g., 10 a.m.) and the same end time (e.g., 10:50 a.m.) for the entire meeting series. Your Teams Calendar is the same as your Outlook Calendar. So meetings you add via Teams Calendar appear on your Outlook Calendar.

Set up recurring meetings with Teams

As you create a Teams meeting in Microsoft Teams, locate the recurrence drop-down menu.

Recurrence drop-down menu

By default, meeting recurrence is set to "Does not repeat." Select the recurrence drop-down menu to add meeting recurrence. See the examples below to schedule class meeting patterns with Teams.

Note: The following examples are specific to instructors who want recurring Teams channel meetings for Marquette classes. However, staff meeting organizers also can apply these class examples to create recurring Teams channel meetings.
