Programs administered by Marquette and other institutions

If financial aid will exceed bursar charges and a refund check is expected, the Office of the Bursar offers direct deposit of refunds. Students can have their tuition refunds directly deposited into their checking or savings account by following these simple steps:

  1. Log in to CheckMarq. From the CheckMarq Student Home, click or tap the Student Account tile.
    Click or tap Direct Deposit.
  2. Click or tap the Add Account button.
  3. Enter your Bank Routing Number, Account Number, the Account Type and select Save and then OK. You will then be able to review or edit the information you entered.

The direct deposit will remain in effect (a) until you delete your bank account information in CheckMarq; (b) your bank/credit union no longer honors or accepts direct deposits; (c) your account closes.

Any questions or concerns regarding a student's Bursar account may be directed to Marquette Central at (414) 288-4000, or via email at marquettecentral@marquette.edu.
