Back Alumni Association (BAA) Ralph H. Metcalfe, Sr., Scholarship

The intent of the scholarship is to provide two Marquette students of color with gifts of up to $2,500 each for the next academic year. The scholarship is designed to aid black students who demonstrate financial need and Marquette values. One scholarship will be awarded to an Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) student and one to a non-EOP student.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Be African American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Hispanic, or Asian. Preference will be given to black students.
  • Be currently enrolled at Marquette University and maintain full-time undergraduate status in 2020-21.
  • Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 on a scale of 4.0.
  • Have demonstrated financial need (including filing a FAFSA form).
  • Submit completed application by Saturday, February 1, 2020.

Please note: students receiving tuition remission or full-tuition scholarships are not eligible for this award.
