My areas of research include ethics in perioperative nursing and the impact that professional certification has on nursing practice. I have recently studied: trauma rounds and the rounding process, ambulatory nurses’ scope of practice, oncology patients’ sleep quality, educational interventions for oncology patients, and oncology patients’ preferences for photographic art.
