My areas of research include ethics in perioperative nursing and the impact that professional certification has on nursing practice. I have recently studied: trauma rounds and the rounding process, ambulatory nurses’ scope of practice, trauma unit remote video monitoring, pain management in the living kidney donor population and Emergency Department (ED) visits after psychogenic non-epileptic events diagnosis.
