Research Interests

I am interested in quality of life at the end-of-life.  In particular, I have studied the impact of advance directives on the intensity of care delivered to older adults in the acute care setting at the end-of-life.  I am also interested in the challenges of delivering ethically appropriate care in the critical care setting, especially at the end-of-life.
