Curriculum Vitae

Visiting Assistant Professor

Philosophy

My current research interests are in St. Augustine, the Eastern Orthodox tradition, and the philosophical-theological parallels that can be found between these two sources of Christian wisdom. I have a strong affinity for ancient Greek philosophy (especially Plato and Aristotle) and logic.

Courses Taught

At Marquette University I have taught introductory ethics and philosophy courses, as well as logic. In summers past, I was a philosophy instructor for the EOP (Educational Opportunity Program), which gives low-income and first-generation college students the educational opportunities they deserve to succeed in higher education. Additionally, in 2012, I was the Lead Instructor for the JC: HEM (Jesuit Commons: Higher Education at the Margins) Project logic and critical thinking course, which was offered to refugee students in Malawi and Kenya.
