Ali Alsouhibani

Ali Alsouhibani received his B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia in 2010. He then worked as a physical therapist in 2 major hospitals in Saudi Arabia for 1 year. In 2014 he earned his Master degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from University of Illinois at Chicago. While there, he worked under the mentorship of Dr. Carol Courtney studying the association of proprioception and vibration with pain in patients with osteoarthritis. Ali joined the Pain Research Laboratory with Dr. Marie Hoeger Bement in the fall of 2014. Aliís primary research interest is to examine the relationship between physical activity, body composition, and mechanisms of pain in healthy individuals and persons with chronic pain.


About the Marquette Sports Rehabilitation Clinic

The Marquette Sports Rehabilitation Clinic (MSRC) is a full-service outpatient rehabilitation and sports medicine clinic that offers the expertise of licensed Physical Therapists and licensed Athletic Trainers with the convenience of an on-campus location. MSRC is a part of the College of Health Sciences' nationally ranked Department of Physical Therapy. MSRC primarily serves the Marquette community including students, staff, faculty and spouses/dependents of employees. MSRC does additionally welcome patients from the greater Milwaukee community at large.
