Alyssa Braun, PA-C, MPAS: Postgraduate Fellow

Alyssa Braun

Alyssa is a graduate of Concordia University Irvine, where she majored in biology. There, she was designated as a Presidential Honors Scholar. 

Alyssa also had the unique opportunity to study abroad at the University of Oxford in England. In PA school, she completed several emergency medicine rotations, including one at the county hospital in downtown Minneapolis, another at a pediatric trauma center in Phoenix, and a third at a critical access hospital in rural Minnesota.  She also has work experience as a scribe in the emergency department and a surgical assistant in a dermatology practice. 

Alyssa has extensive experience as a volunteer.  Specifically, she partnered with Neighborhood Healthsource in Minneapolis to offer free well-child checks for children in the community, participated in a medical mission trip to Guatemala, and conducted research on educating patients regarding the importance of follow-up care.
