Amy Dunn, PA-C: Postgraduate Fellow

Amy DunnAmy Dunn grew up in the foothills of Colorado. She attended college at the University of Northern Colorado where she obtained her bachelor's degree in biology along with a chemistry minor. Shortly thereafter she relocated to the greater Milwaukee area to earn her master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at Marquette University. Prior to Physician Assistant school she worked in a pathology lab learning about various diseases and their associated pathophysiology.

During her clinical year of PA school she discovered a passion for emergency medicine. She enjoyed the quick pace and balance of both procedural skills and medical knowledge. She chose to continue her education by participating in Marquette's EM fellowship program. The fellowship continues to help her achieve goals of providing the best possible patient care and broadening both her clinical and procedural knowledge. In the future she hopes to obtain a position at a community ER back in Rocky Mountains where she can pursue her other passions of climbing, backpacking, and mountain biking.
