Kyle Desimone, PA-C: Postgraduate Fellow

Kyle DesimoneBorn in Ohio, Kyle and his family moved to California in the year 2000, where he has spent the majority of his life. He attended college at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, where he played for the school’s baseball program and earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. After completing his undergraduate studies, he worked as an EMT for a year and a half prior to applying to PA school. He then earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of California, Davis. Kyle chose to attend Marquette’s EM PA residency program because he felt that it would give him the opportunity to further his education and training in a structured environment tailored towards emergency medicine.

Kyle is drawn to the fast-paced environment of the emergency medicine setting as well as the teamwork and communication aspects. He believes that having a solid connection with patients and their families helps ease the stress and anxiety that can accompany a trip to the emergency department. In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing guitar, reading, watching sports, and working out. He hopes to one day return to San Diego for work but is enjoying everything that Milwaukee has to offer.
