Anne Malkoff graduated from Kenyon College in 2016 with a double major in Psychology and Spanish and an interdisciplinary concentration in Latino/a Studies. At Kenyon, she worked with Dr. Irene López, where she assisted with research on ataques de nervios and providing culturally sensitive community health care for Latinos in rural Ohio. Anne entered the doctoral program in clinical psychology at Marquette in the fall of 2016. Her research interests are community-based in nature, and broadly encompass the intersections of Latino mental health disparities, child psychopathology, processes of immigration/acculturation, and family functioning. She is currently working on her master’s thesis, which will explore the moderating relationship of gender and acculturation on parental stress and family chaos among Latino parents of children with ADHD.
