Katie Ritchie


Kathryn Ritchie is a third year graduate student in the clinical psychology doctoral program. A native of Chicago, she also completed her undergraduate education at Marquette University. Kathryn graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology in spring of 2014.

Kathryn’s research interests include exploring the psychometric properties of effort and validity measures, as well as brain injury assessment. She has had the excellent opportunity to serve as a research assistant for Project Head-to-Head, a large-scale concussion study conducted by the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Department of Defense. Currently, she coordinates Dr. Hoelzle’s Neuropsychology and Personality Lab.

Kathryn is currently working on her Master’s thesis, which utilizes Monte Carlo analyses to investigate the psychometric properties of brief concussion screeners. Her clinical interests are primarily focused in neuropsychological assessment.

In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys reading, traveling, and long runs on the Milwaukee lakefront.
