Description of Agency: Sojourner is Wisconsin’s largest domestic abuse services provider. Sojourner’ mission is to transform lives impacted by domestic violence. We provide pathways out of violence for survivors and abusers through opportunities to make positive and lasting changes for themselves and their children. Sojourner is located within the Family Peace Center (FPC), a single facility that houses a broad array of partner agencies, including nonprofit organizations, law enforcement and criminal justice agencies, physical and mental health providers, school services, legal services, and wellness services. The FPC was created as a “one-stop shop” for families experiencing violence to get all their needs met under a single roof.

The Outcomes & Evaluation department aims to measure the work done at the FPC, including the provision of client services, the development of the partnership between agencies at the FPC, client satisfaction with services, and outcomes for adult and child clients.

Student Role in Agency: Working under the direction of the Director of Outcomes & Evaluation, volunteers will help with tasks related to outcomes and evaluation, such as the following:
