Required Health and Safety Courses for Students

Marquette University has partnered with  EverFi, whose mission is to help students address critical life skills such as alcohol and other drug abuse prevention and sexual assault prevention in higher education institutions across the country. Each year over ½ million students complete these courses.

As part of our comprehensive prevention efforts for new students, Marquette expects you to complete the AlcoholEdu for College and Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates courses.

NOTE: Failure to complete this programs will result in a registration hold.

Why do I have to take AlcoholEdu for College and Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates?

  • We value the health and well-being of every student. Whether you choose to drink or not, are over 21, or have taken this program before, the information provided in these programs helps build a more knowledgeable and prepared community.
  • Federal law also requires all universities to educate their students on alcohol, other drugs, and gender-based violence.
