Meet the Coordinator of Urban Scholars
Darryle D. Todd, Jr. — or DJ — received his bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2004 and a master of education in counseling and personnel service in student affairs from the University of Louisville in May 2006.
Todd previously served higher education through international service learning, Greek life, residence life, student conduct, first-year experience programs, student leadership and pre-college programs at private and public universities. Most recently, he was coordinator for multicultural affairs in Marquette's Office of Student Development, where he facilitated multicultural programming, student leadership, and advising and social justice dialogues.
He is a member of the National Academic Advising Association, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, the Brothers of the Academy and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Todd also was parliamentarian for the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities' conference on multicultural affairs.
According to the StrengthsQuest StrengthsFinder instrument, Todd's top five strengths are connectedness, context, adaptability, ideation and individualization.
