The Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in Beijing is one of the best business schools in China. It offers a comprehensive range of the highest-quality programs available. Established in December 1993 by merging the Department of Economics and Management, School of Economics, and Center of Management Science, Guanghua was originally called the the Peking University Business School. The name was changed in 1994 to honor the generous donation from Hong Kong's Guanghua Education Foundation.
The school is staffed with about 100 full-time teaching faculty members. More than half of the faculty earned their doctoral degrees from prestigious universities overseas, including Harvard, Oxford, Stanford, Yale, Carnegie Mellon, Brown, Purdue and the University of California, Berkeley. The school offers undergraduate and specialized master's and doctoral programs with a total enrollment of more than 3,000 students.
It has three academic degrees: a bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral degree. GSM offers three specializations for bachelor's students: finance, accounting and marketing. The master's program has 10 specializations, and the doctoral program has four specializations.
