Applying for Study Abroad - Overview and Timeline

Applying to study abroad at Marquette involves completing the general Marquette study abroad application requirements and all program specific requirements.  Application files must be complete by the application deadlines listed below for students to be considered.

Also, some programs are very competitive and students are encouraged to select first, second and third preferences. If your application is accepted, you will also be required to submit additional materials and, if necessary, complete post-acceptance program specific requirements.

October 10/March 10: Notification of Marquette Acceptance
                                         Post-Acceptance Program Requirements Announced

October 17/March 17: Post-Acceptance Requirements Due
                                         Medical Form Due
                                 
Mid-November/Early-April : Pre-Departure Orientation Sessions
                                                   Completed Course Approval Form Due
                                                   Waiver of Liability Signed at Orientation
