The course is a hybrid that combines classroom instruction and lab work with aspects of internship and practicum courses, including field work in a setting unfamiliar to student participants. Students work to produce a dynamic web documentary with faculty members serving as supervisors. Faculty work with students to master certain trades and apply those skills.
Students participating in the Cagli Project will use classroom and lab experiences as a method for learning about the wonderful environment of Cagli. Students will work in teams to find, shape, and tell stories about life and people in Cagli. They will get to explore the community and turn what they discover into stories through writing, still photos, a video, and a web page.
