Presently, Sonderborg's 30,000 residents make it the largest town in Denmark. The city itself offers many activities for students. The city has a friendly, quiet atmosphere but is filled with a large student population, making the social scene youthful and lively. The city center has a bustling pedestrian area and many attractive shops and bars.
