June prayer for alumni
While
it seems like we have been waiting a long time for spring, summer is upon
us.
According to Alfred Lord Tennyson, "In the spring, a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love."
Father Pedro Arrupe, the late former Superior General of the Jesuits wrote: "…what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, whom you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in Love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.”
Amen.

Alumna finds childhood artwork in place of honor
When
Jennifer Szatkowski, Health Sci '11, sent patriotic artwork to a soldier for a

years later at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
Szatkowski, an Air Force lieutenant, is currently attending medical school at
the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and was having her
teeth cleaned when she spotted the familiar drawing. Read
