Can my credits from another college or university be transferred?
Only credits directly applicable to a student's Marquette degree program will be considered for transfer. Transfer credits require a grade of “C” or better from an accredited educational institution, with a maximum of 90 transfer credits from one institution. Students are strongly urged to consult their advisers before requesting or taking any course for which they will want to transfer credits.
How can I manage family, work and school?
Based on your schedule, you can choose to take one class at a time or more – weeknights, Saturdays and/or online. Most of our courses are 4 hours long and meet once per week for eight weeks – on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings and afternoons. The majority of our classes are on Saturdays. The fully online classes are primarily for Organization & Leadership.
How long will it take to complete my degree?
Students need to complete a minimum of 126 credits. Depending on a student’s individual situation, the number of transfer credits, his/her availability to take classes, and course scheduling will all impact a timeframe for completion. With courses offered in eight-week formats and sessions five times a year, if a student takes two classes in each session that would total 30 credits a year. The degree could be completed in a little more than four years.
What is the cost of the program?
Please see the current per credit Undergraduate Tuition Schedule.
How do I know if financial aid is available to me?
Visit the financial aid Web site or call the Financial Aid Office at (414) 288-7137 or (800) 793-6450 to talk with a representative.

Applicants who intend to begin classes in September should ideally submit their applications in spring, but certainly no later than July 31. Applicants who intend to begin classes in January should ideally submit their applications in fall, but certainly no later than December 15. Since the undergraduate program has five sessions and students can start in any session, we will also work with applicants who wish to begin classes in November, March or May.
