FULL RANGE LEADERSHIP 1.1 CEUs
Today’s leaders must be able to employ a full range of leadership behaviors to meeting the various needs of the organizations and business. Based on over 100 years of empirical research on leaders, participants will be engaged in assessing their personal transactional and transformational behaviors. Transactional behaviors are comprised of those behaviors that leaders call upon on a daily business to get the job done. While Transformational behaviors include relational and development leadership behaviors also deemed necessary to create the kinds of resulting seen in the most successful organizations. Research conducted around the world shows that leaders able to practice these four behaviors tend to gain extra effort from employees and experience higher employee satisfaction and higher productivity and greater organizational effectiveness.
Participants will be assessed with the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire, a 360 degree feedback assessment involving a self-rating and several other raters. Course will include interpretation of the assessment and developing a personal leadership development plan for increasing effectiveness.
