DESCRIPTION
This 6.0 continuing education unit (CEUs) certificate program is designed to help you sharpen the skills essential for success. Through this Certificate program, you can improve your ability to plan, organize, direct and evaluate your own work as well as the work of others. Strengthen your communication skills and develop effective leadership skills while networking with other adult professionals. Take a single seminar course or take the entire program to complete a Marquette University Certificate in Management Practices and then move on to complete the Advanced Certificate in Management Practices.
Courses are independent units that may be completed in any sequence; however,
all participates must begin the Certificate in Management Practices with the
Managerial Assessment of Proficiency (MAP) course, as it provides an assessment
of your management style, and indicates areas of strength and those which could
benefit from improvement.
Elective courses can
be taken in any order, as no course is a prerequisite
for another. However, it is required that
you begin the certificate program with the Managerial
Assessment of Proficiency (MAP) course, as it provides

from improvement.
Students enrolled in the certificate program must complete a total of 6.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which is equivalent to 60 classroom hours. For more information regarding certificate programs and CEUs, please refer to Frequently Asked Questions.

REQUIREMENTS
Students wishing to complete the certificate program are required:
- To begin with the Managerial Assessment of Proficiency (MAP) course (1.5 CEUs)
- Complete the program with any combination of elective courses, which total at least 4.5 CEUs (Click here for electives).
