Masters in Dispute Resolution (MDR)

The masters in dispute resolution program seeks to train professionals, primarily those in the fields of law, health care, education, and business, to practice as third party neutrals in the field of dispute resolution, or to be knowledgeable participates in the dispute resolution process.

Program outcomes

  • Learn the processes of negotiation, facilitation, mediation, arbitration, dispute resolution systems design, and public policy consensus building.
  • Demonstrate competency in dispute resolution theory and practice by employing critical thinking and the tools of research when completing either a master's thesis or an integrative capstone project.

Flexible scheduling

Courses are held Friday evenings and Saturdays with an online component - so they're available when you are. You can complete the entire program on a part-time or full-time basis.
