Reciprocity

Reciprocity is the Career Services Center's ability to request the use of other career centers on your behalf. This allows students who use our offices but are moving to a new area to transfer to a new center. It also allows students who are searching for a job outside of this area to use a nearby center for a short time. 

MU Students looking to use services provided by fellow Jesuit institutions

To request a letter of reciprocity to be sent to another career center, you must first meet with a career counselor to discuss your career plans and how services from a partnering institution might be helpful to you in your search.

College of Business Administration students can schedule appointments with the Business Career Center staff at (414) 288-7927

All other students may schedule individual career appointments with the Career Services Center by calling (414) 288-7423

Common reasons for requesting reciprocity:

1. Access to employment & internship postings in a region/state/city not accessible through MU Career Manager
2. Networking opportunities through career fairs and local career events
3. Assistance with career & internship resource materials not already available through the MUCSC website
