As a rhetorician of health and medicine, I study the relationship among medicine, rhetoric, and technical communication. My current projects report on how medical professionals develop and employ communication strategies in two unpredictable workplaces: emergency medical services and public health emergency response.
• I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in improving writing practices in health care. Specifically, I’d like to connect with colleagues who work with the Institute for Palliative and End of Life Care and the Wisconsin Geriatric Education Center.
