How do I Apply?
Beginning on September 15, 2008, the Graduate School at Marquette University will only accept online applications for admission. The link to the online application is found below, but before you start the application, please read the rest of these instructions.
What Comes First?
You must submit your application for admission before you submit any documents, letters, transcripts, or test scores. We are unable to create an application file until we receive your application. If we receive documents before we receive your application, we have no easy way to clearly store your documents. While we will do our best to keep them organized, it is clearly to your advantage to submit your application first, and to send supporting documents later. If documents arrive before your application and are misplaced, you may have to resubmit them.
Application Fees
Beginning on September 15, 2008, our application fee will increase from $40 to $50. All applications received on or after September 15, 2008, must include payment of a $50 application fee or request for a waiver as outlined below.
Application fees are waived for students who have previously attended Marquette University as an undergraduate or graduate student, or as a student in any of the professional colleges including the Dental School, the Law School, the College of Health Sciences, or the Graduate School of Management. Proof of attendance at Marquette must be supported by the existence of a Marquette transcript.
Refunds of application fees will not be made. Applicants are responsible for knowing if an application fee is required. If an application fee is submitted when the applicant would have been eligible for a waiver, the application fee will not be refunded.
Application Requirements and Deadlines
Program requirements will vary from one program to another, and also from one status to another. Applicants for Temporary and Non-Degree status must submit an application form, application fee, and official copies of transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.
Applicants to Certificate Programs, master’s degree programs, or doctoral programs must submit the documents required by their programs.
