Bring Home Jesus
The 6th Annual Bring Home Jesus event, sponsored by Straz Tower Resident Assistants, will take place from Tuesday, December 6th, through Wednesday, December 10th. The event will take place outside the Raynor Library on campus.
The purpose of Bring Home Jesus is to bring awareness and stir action regarding helping children and teenagers find healthy homes. During the time of Advent, where hope and anticipation are a common focus,
BHJ encourages the Marquette community to consider those who may be searching for just that during the cold, winter months and during the holidays separated from loved ones.
For the third year now, Straz Tower will be donating this year to Kids Matter, Inc. a Milwaukee-based agency that assists foster children with finding permanent, loving homes as well as educational and support services for families.
Current students can be involved through volunteering at the nativity or assisting Straz Resident Assistants with fundraising efforts. Alumni and community members are welcome and encouraged to visit the nativity scene, talk with students, and if they wish, make a donation. To volunteer or make arrangements for a donation, please contact bringhomejesus@gmail.com.
