Be a Part of the Tradition

The Office of Student Development is looking for six students who are interested in planning the 2009 Women’s Leadership Conference on April 4, 2009. The Women’s Leadership Conference is an annual event held during the spring semester, providing the Marquette community the opportunity to explore and discuss various topics related to women and leadership through engaging workshops and speakers. The Women’s Leadership Conference Planning team, chaired by two Conference Co-Chairs, meets November through mid-April to plan and implement the conference.

We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions: Logistics Committee Co-Chairs, Publicity Committee Co-Chairs, and Programs and Speakers Committee Co-Chairs.

Applications are available in the Office of Student Development (AMU Room 121 and Room 329) or can be downloaded below. Applicants are asked to submit the following: application form, responses to essay questions, a resume and two references. All application materials must be submitted by 4:30pm on Friday, October 24th, in AMU 121. Questions? The Student Leadership Summit is an annual conference open to all students but may be of particular interest to those with campus leadership roles, those who serve the community in some form, or those who aspire to incorporate acts of leadership and service in their daily lives.
