Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Pastoral Leadership at Marquette University, an exciting ecumenical initiative funded by a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc.

Pastoral Leadership in a Cultural Context is a cohort-based leadership program for early career pastors, associate pastors, and congregational pastoral ministers. The program brings together an ecumenical group of pastoral ministers for quarterly two or three day summit meetings, addressing key issues and concerns arising from the intersection of faith and culture.

Summit meetings bring cohort members together with business leaders, civic leaders, and selected faculty for a time of rich and fertile conversation, sharing diverse experiences and ideas, building community, developing leadership techniques and strategies specifically targeted to the challenges contemporary culture issues to the work of ministry, and guided contemplative prayer in the Ignatian tradition.
