The Department of Public Safety maintains a daily log that records, by the date the incident was reported, all crimes and other serious incidents occurring on campus, within non-campus buildings or properties, on public property or within the department's patrol boundaries. The daily log is available for public inspection at the department's headquarters, located at 749 N. 16th St.

The daily log includes the nature, date, time and general location of each crime reported to the department, as well as the disposition of the complaint, if the information is known at the time of publication. The department posts incidents in the Campus Crime Log within two business days of receiving a report and reserves the right to exclude reports under certain circumstances. The below listed incidents have been forwarded to the Milwaukee Police Department.

#14-1642         Theft; Occurred Sat., 11/15/14 between 12:00 p.m. and 12:15 p.m.  Reported Tue., 11/18/14 at 9:08 a.m.  A student reported that unknown person(s) removed his unsecured, unattended property est. at $65 in Eckstein Hall.

OFF CAMPUS

#14-1643         Theft; Occurred Tue., 11/18/14 at 10:44 a.m.  Reported Tue., 11/18/14 at 10:45 a.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette reported that an unidentified subject removed property from a business in the 1600 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.

#14-1645         Burglary; Occurred Tue., 11/18/14 at 1:44 p.m.  Reported Tue., 11/18/14 at 1:45 p.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette removed property from an unsecured, attended residence in the 800 block of N. 11th Street and was detained by DPS.  MPD cited the subject and the property was recovered.

#14-1646         Battery; Occurred Tue., 11/18/14 at 3:15 pm.  Reported Tue., 11/18/14 at 4:57 p.m.  Unknown person(s) possibly using a BB gun caused minor injuries to a student in the 1000 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  Medical assistance declined.   MPD will be notified.

#14-1648         Disorderly Conduct; Occurred Fri., 11/14/14 between 9:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.  Reported Tue., 11/18/14 at 4:02 p.m.  Two students told their two student roommates that a burglary had taken place in their residence in the 1300 block of W. Kilbourn Avenue.  The two roommates later contacted MPD.  Upon investigation, it was determined that the students were playing a prank on their roommates and a burglary had not occurred.

#14-1651         Battery; Occurred Tue., 11/18/14 at 7:00 p.m.  Reported Tue., 11/18/14 at 9:15 p.m.  Unknown person(s) possibly using a BB gun caused minor injuries to a student in the 1000 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  Medical assistance declined.   MPD will be notified.

#14-1652         Theft Of Motor Vehicle; Occurred Tue., 11/18/14 between 9:05 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.  Reported Tue., 11/18/14 at 11:10 p.m.  A student reported that unknown person(s) removed her secured, unattended vehicle in the 900 block of N. 18th Street.  Est. loss is $4,600.  MPD contacted.

#14-1641         Theft; Occurred Mon., 11/17/14 between 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.  Reported Mon., 11/17/14 at 6:27 p.m.  A student reported that unknown person(s) removed his unsecured cell phone est. at $600 from a table in a business in the 1600 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  MPD contacted.

#14-1623         Theft; Occurred Thu., 11/13/14 between 6:54 p.m. and 9:11 p.m.  Reported Fri., 11/14/14 at 4:32 p.m.  A student’s acquaintance not affiliated with Marquette left the Union Sports Annex without paying his bill.  Est. loss is $76.  MPD was contacted and cited the subject.

#14-1625         Possession/Consumption Of Alcohol:  Underage; Occurred and reported Fri., 11/14/14 at 9:21 p.m.  An underage student was in possession of alcohol in Schroeder Hall.

#14-1630         Misrepresentation Of Age:  Falsified Identification Card; Occurred and reported Sat., 11/15/14 at 3:10 a.m.  An underage student was in possession of a falsified ID in Structure One.

#14-1631         Disorderly Conduct; Occurred and reported Sat.,11/15/14 at 12:41 p.m.  An intoxicated person not affiliated with Marquette acted in a disorderly manner in the Jesuit Residence and was taken into custody by MPD.

#14-1632         Disorderly Conduct; Occurred and reported Sat.,11/15/14 at 4:20 p.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette acted in a disorderly manner in the cafeteria in Mashuda Hall and was detained by DPS.  MPD took the subject into custody.

#14-1635         Possession/Consumption Of Alcohol:  Underage; Occurred and reported Sat., 11/15/14 at 9:55 p.m.  An underage, intoxicated student in McCormick Hall admitted consuming alcohol in Campus Town West.

#14-1637         Theft; Occurred Sun., 11/16/14 at 1:42 p.m.  Reported Sun., 11/16/14 at 1:48 p.m.  A person not affiliated with Marquette removed property from a business in the 1600 block of W. Wells and was cited by MPD.

OFF CAMPUS

#14-1628         Disorderly Conduct, Possession/Consumption Of Alcohol:  Underage & Misrepresentation Of Age:  Falsified Identification Card; Occurred and reported Sat., 11/15/14 at 12:10 a.m.  An underage, intoxicated student was observed by MPD impeding traffic in the 700 block of N. 16th Street and was also in possession of a falsified ID.  The student was cited with multiple citations by MPD and released.

#14-1629         Battery; Occurred Fri., 11/14/14 at 7:02 p.m.  Reported Fri., 11/14/14 at 1:37 a.m.  Unknown person(s) possibly using an air gun caused minor injuries to a student in the 1600 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.  MPD was contacted.
