Golden Eagle Battalion Honors Veterans and contracts 21 Cadets
On November 11, 2011, the Golden Eagle Battalion honored our nation’s veterans with a ceremony conducted at Marquette University. The Professor of Military Science, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Kaderavek, inducted Colonel Mark E. Mitchell, a class of 1987 MU alum, into the Wall of Honor for his distinguished military career, which includes being awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his courageous actions in Afghanistan. The ceremony also included contracting 21 Cadets who took the Loyalty Oath in front of family, friends, alumni and veterans. Additionally, Colonel Mitchell present Cadet Kevin Bubolz with the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross award. In turn, Cadet Bubolz introduced the Spanish ODonnells new music video, Never Giving Up, for the first time.
