Army ROTC is not a major field of study at UW-Milwaukee. It is a program in which students pursue a baccalaureate degree of their choice and take Army ROTC courses in military-oriented subject matter in partnership with Marquette University. Army ROTC provides a general knowledge of the contemporary role of the Army in support of national objectives and a practicum in management and leadership skills. Credits earned in military science courses apply toward graduation requirements.
The Army ROTC program offers competitive two-, three-, and four-year scholarships to qualified undergraduate or graduate students. Currently, the scholarships offered for UWM students cover full tuition and fees or room and board, $1000 a year for books, and a $300-$450 monthly stipend.
