Sergeant First Class Derek Andrasic
Adjunct Military Instructor

Sergeant First Class Derek Andrasic enlisted in the Wisconsin Army National Guard in 1993.  He reenlisted for active duty in February 2005.  Duty assignments include Camp Castle, Republic of Korea, Fort Hood, Texas, and Fort Huachuca, Arizona.  In 1999, SFC Andrasic was selected as 40th Signal Battalion, 11th Signal Brigade, and United States Army Signal Command Noncommissioned Officer of the Year.

In 2001, SFC Andrasic reenlisted in the Army Reserve.  He is a 2001 graduate of the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant School.  His awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (fourth award), Army Achievement Medal (fourth award), the Good Conduct Medal (second award), Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Korean Service Medal.

SFC Andrasic is currently enrolled at University of Maryland University College.
