Marquette Cadets Receive Summer Army Internships


Five Marquette Army ROTC cadets have been accepted for various summer internship opportunites in Washington, D.C. and Europe.

CDT Sarah Howell of Severna, MD was accepted for an internship in the Pentagon.

CDT Julian Gilbert of Baraboo, WI received a Physical Therapy Internship with the Army Medical Department in Heidelburg, Germany.

CDTs Tim Shebesta of Antioch, IL and Ryan Fields of Bay Point, CA received Engineering Internships through the US Army Corps of Engineers in Stuttgart, Germany. Cadets assigned to this internship will work exclusively in an engineering capacity and under the direct supervision of an Army engineer.

CDT Cheryl Graycarek of Denmark, WI has received a rare opportunity to participate in the United Kingdom Officer Training Camp.  Conducted by the British counterpart of ROTC, this three week training event takes place in Cambridge and London.  Training focuses on small unit tacitcs and individual training.
