Sea Power Library Association

The Sea Power Library Association would like to give a special thanks to all of its generous donors!

The Sea power Library Association (SLA) is a non-profit organization comprised of alumni and current midshipmen. The president of the SLA is Vito Centofanti, a 1983 Alumni from Marquette NROTC. The purpose of the organization is to "provide a multi-media research facility for its members, NROTC midshipmen, and students of Marquette University. These facilities will be used for the professional education of future Naval Officers, for independent research in the field of Naval Science by students and members, and as a clearinghouse for publications and instructional materials of related interest to Naval studies." Each year the SLA conducts fundraising activities to support this cause. The SLA has funded a computer lab in the NROTC building with six state of the art computers all connected to the internet. It also maintains numerous periodical subscriptions and purchases books in the field of Naval Science for midshipmen use. These efforts are funded entirely by the alumni and parents of current midshipmen. The SLA has contributed to the success of numerous midshipmen throughout the years. To donate to the Sea Power Library Association please make checks payable to "Sea Power Library."

Contact Us at nrotc@mu.edu for a copy of the midshipman battalion's "wish list" if you would like to donate specific items to the battalion vice a monetary contribution.
