Why I like working at Service Learning
I love working for the Office of Service Learning because it provides Marquette students with such a wonderful opportunity to implement what they have learned in the classroom. Milwaukee is a vibrant, diverse, exciting community to be a part of, but there is also so much need that students can study and help combat by living out the Jesuit mission of developing men and women for others, and by utilizing the knowledge they have gained in the classroom.
What I hope my fellow students will get out of their Service Learning experience
I hope my fellow students will develop an understanding of the Milwaukee community beyond Marquette's campus, recognize the reciprocal benefits of serving others, and appreciate the experiential educational opportunities that service learning provides.
