Why I like working at Service Learning
I love being able to come to an office where I am surrounded by a diverse group of minds and friends. Service Learning allows students to come into themselves all the while being in new situations, helping people who they might not immediately choose to interact with. It’s these new experiences that make the Service Learning Office an incredible place to work.
What I hope my fellow students will get out of their Service Learning experience
I hope that students will find a newfound sense of appreciation for Milwaukee and Marquette. Being at Marquette means living in Milwaukee and learning the realities of this city that we choose to call home to for four years all the while having fun and learning a lot. Service Learning is an integral part of the Marquette experience and I want my peers to gain new personal experiences as well as a new sense of service and what it means to them as individuals.
