By car:Head west on W Wisconsin Ave toward N 12th St. Turn right onto N 12th St, then turn right onto W Wells St. Turn left onto N 6th St, then right onto W McKinley Ave. Continue onto E Knapp St, then turn left onto N Water St. Continue onto E Brady St, then left onto N Van Buren St. Continue onto N Holton St, and turn right onto E Burleigh St. Your destination will be on the left.
By bus: Wak 4 minutes to the bust stop on Wisconsin and North 10th St. Get on the #14 to Bayshore. After riding for 25 minutes get off at Burleigh and Humboldt. Walk 7 minutes north on N Humboldt Blvd toward E Burleigh St, turn left and desitination will be on the right.

By car: Head east on W Wisconsin Ave toward N James Lovell St, then turn left at the 1st corss street onto N James Lovell St. Turn right onto W Wells St, then left a the 1st cross street onto N 6th St. Turn right onto W Kilbourn Ave, then left onto N Water St. Continue onto E Brady St, then turn left onto N Van Buren. Continue onto N Holton St, then turn right onto E North Ave. Desitnation is on the right.
By bus: Take the #30 heading east to Prosopect & North. Get off and board the #21 to Mayfair and ride for 4 min disembarking onto Humboldt & North. Walk two minutes heading west on E North Ave toward N Humboldt Blvd. Your destination will be on the left.
Orientation: Monday, February 4th at 3:00pm at Administrative Building (909 E. North Ave); after orientation you will report to Holton Center to complete service learning for the rest of the semester (510 E. Burleigh Street).

Teens Program: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-8:00pm; MPS off days 1:00pm-6:00pm
Preteens Program: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-6:00pm; MPS off days 7:00am-6:00pm
Description of Agency/Activities: The Holton Youth & Family Center represents a joining of forces on the part of a diverse group of community agencies to bring about measurable, sustainable change, specifically in the areas of youth violence reduction and creating positive alternatives for the young people of Milwaukee. The HYFC Collaborative provides a model for violence-reduction and youth engagement. The Center will unite with youth, families, and resources in the Harambee and Riverwest neighborhoods: joyfully empowering a healthy, positive and sustainable community. Nearly 100 youth, ages 5-19, visit the Center on a daily basis.
Student Role in Agency: Service Learners will assist teams with academic tutoring, art, reading, math, and other planned activities.
